We engineer clothing to perform longer and better than regular garments.
That’s why every LABFRESH product is backed by a guarantee, giving you confidence that your clothing is designed to last, perform, and require less frequent washing.
The Performance Guarantee is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If the product doesn't do what we promise, we'll make it right by exchanging it for a new one.
What the guarantee covers
Odour control
Sweat smells are caused by bacteria in your sweat. Our entire collection is odour repellent. When sweat is absorbed, the technology repels the odour and your garments remain fresh for days.
Everyone has different levels of perspiration, so we can’t guarantee a specific amount of days you can wear our garments in a row. The average from our yearly customer surveys tells us that on average, our customers wear our products for 3.8 days before washing*.

Sweat stains
Our technology makes sweat stains less visible. We do it in two different ways.
1. Sweat-blocking
Only selected products - such as our undershirts and sweat-blocking t-shirts are engineered with technology specifically designed to minimise visible sweat stains.
These fabrics work by absorbing moisture, spreading it across a larger surface area, and allowing it to evaporate more quickly - helping the outside of the garment stay drier for longer.
For our undershirts, this technology is designed to handle high levels of perspiration - up to approximately 2 liters before becoming visible on the outside.

2. Sweat resistance
The below item’s technological fabric absorbs sweat less and makes sweat stains less visible, due to factors like breathability and general liquid repellency.
The remaining products from the LABFRESH & LIV collections are not guaranteed to be sweat resistant nor sweat-blocking:
Disclaimer: Comfort is key, however none of our products are 100% hydrophobic. They block moderate amounts of sweat. 100% hydrophobic fabrics would feel like wearing a raincoat, rather than a comfortable top.
We promise that our garments block perspiration better than a non-technical garment, and allows your sweat to dry faster. White fabrics are more transparent, hence less good at hiding sweat stains. Is hiding them your main goal? Go for a darker colour, and pair up the shirt with an undershirt.
Sweat-resistant products
Wrinkle control
LABFRESH garments are designed to stay presentable with minimal effort.
We use industry-standard measurements such as Durable Press rating and wrinkle recovery to define how wrinkle-resistant each product is. These ratings are clearly indicated on product pages and hangtags, so you know what to expect before purchasing.
Because we work with different materials, wrinkle performance varies:
- Natural fibers (like cotton) will never be 100% wrinkle-free, but are engineered to recover well and stay presentable throughout the day
- Performance fabrics offer higher wrinkle resistance and require little to no ironing
Within each product category, we aim to offer both:
- a natural option (more breathable, slightly more prone to wrinkles)
- a performance option (maximum wrinkle resistance and easy care)
Easy care
Easy Care products typically fall within a Durable Press rating of 2.5-3.5, which is commonly considered “wrinkle-resistant” in the industry.
After washing, light ironing or steaming helps restore both appearance and liquid repellency performance.
What is NOT covered by Performance guarantee
The guarantee does not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Improper washing or care, including:
- tumble drying
- fabric softener
- high-temperature washing
- bleach or harsh detergents
- Oil-based stains (e.g. grease or cosmetics)
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or alterations
- Discoloration from deodorant containing aluminium, sunblock or other beauty products and chemicals.
- Performance reduction after extensive washing beyond expected lifespan
What we consider normal wear and tear
All garments naturally change over time with regular use, washing, and friction. These changes are expected and are not considered defects.
This includes:
- minor pilling in high-friction areas
- gradual softening or thinning of fabric
- slight fading from washing or sunlight
- small changes in shape within expected shrinkage
- minor surface wear from everyday use
A gradual reduction in performance over time is also normal.
Washing & Care instructions
LABFRESH garments are designed to be worn multiple days between washes (on average 3.8 days*).
Treat your apparel well and it will treat you better. Avoid tumble drying, no fabric softener, low RPM’s, wash on low temperatures / by hand, and we solemnly swear you will enjoy your lifeproof apparel for a long-long time. Read detailed instructions on each product's pages.
